Shanghai Astronomy Museum

In July 2020, the world's largest astronomy museum, the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, was ceremonially opened in Shanghai. The futuristic-looking, 420,000sqm complex includes an observatory, a planetarium, various exhibitions and a 23-meter-high solar telescope.
Laserworld in China and Damai Optoelectronics, together with other well-known partners such as Laserfabrik GmbH, were contracted to implement various laser installations.
For example, a laser installation was integrated into the planetarium, which is housed in a giant, seemingly floating sphere. The multimedia laser show, consisting of tarm laser systems and various video projectors, tells visitors about the origins of the universe in stunning images.
In the astronomy museum, laser projectors from the Laserworld brand are used to simulate doorways and guide visitors on their tour.
We are pleased that even at the opening ceremony, a laser show was performed using laser projectors from Laserworld Group.
