What is a landmark laser?
Show laser systems are used as landmark lasers to highlight a specific location to be seen from a long distance.
The wording "landmark laser" is mainly used in Asian countries. In Europe and in the USA the terms "Sky Laser", "Skylaser" or "Sky beam laser" are more common.
Which show laser is best used as a landmark laser?
Landmark lasers need high power and a low divergence to be visible from a far distance. Show laser systems with OPSL modules will suit best as landmark lasers as they offer the best beam divergence and are often sold with very high power. Concerning the laser color, green laser source are better visible than other colors.
