| DMX |
short for: Digital Multiplex - the common control signal in lighting industry. It is a serial bus system, that supports 512 channels with each having values between 0 and 255. Lighting fictures can be addressed and functions can be assigned to DMX channels. W-DMX: Wireless DMX - is a technology for wireless transmission of the DMX512 control signal (see FAQ for details). Original supplied by Wireless Solutions Sweden. |

| grating |
A grating effect is an optical deflection grid, that multiplies the input rays. E.g. if you shoot a single laser beam to the grating, you get kind of a star effect (burst grating) or a "dotted line" (line grating) on the other side. See details here: Grating Effect |
